Elaine Otchere, Co-President

Elaine was born in Chicago, IL but spent the majority of her life living in Ann Arbor, MI. She received a B.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan and then took a gap year between college and medical school to do research and travel the world. She is currently interested in Dermatology. During her free time, Elaine enjoys playing tennis, sprinting, traveling, and socializing.

Avril Coley, Co-President

Avril was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She left the city for a small town in North Carolina where she attended Davidson College. She majored in Biology and did extensive study in French language and history. Currently, Avril is interested in surgery. Outside of the classroom she enjoys music, singing, travel, and doing community outreach through her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Chinwe Amazu, Treasurer

Chinwendu is originally from Nigeria but grew up in Maryland. She attended University of Maryland Baltimore County where she obtained a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Chinwe is a MSTP trainee and is currently interested in OB/GYN. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering in the St. Louis community, exercising, dancing and hanging out with friends.

Cynthia Wang, Secretary

Cynthia was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan (Go Blue!). She attended Columbia University in New York, where she majored in Biology. At the moment, Cynthia is still very open to many different specialties, but is especially interested in Dermatology. Outside of school-related activities, Cynthia enjoys running, doing yoga, cooking, and exploring new food places.

Katerina Konstantinoff, Programs Director

Katerina was born and raised in Wisconsin, then attended the University of Chicago where she majored in Biology. Currently, Katerina is interested in hematology/oncology. She enjoys research and is also involved in the Student Advisory Committee for an Inclusive Community and the Internal Medicine Interest Group at WUSM. In her free, she time enjoys playing soccer and exploring St. Louis with friends.

Greg Opara, Parlimentarian

Greg grew up in Sugar Land, Texas and went to school at Washington University in St Louis for undergrad, where studied Psychology and Biology. Currently, he's interested in a lot of very different things including psychiatry, surgery, pediatrics and internal medicine, so he basically has no idea what he wants to do yet. When he's not studying, he likes to stay active by playing flag football, basketball and getting into the gym whenever he can.
